Location
A majority of beach resort properties & Island properties which we cater to are situated in peaceful, far-off & secluded beachside /island locations which serves as the perfect Holiday destinations & a great tranquil escape for vacationers. Quite a few Hotel properties are centrally located in cities like Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne.
Salary/ Wages:
AUD $ 41, 850 p.a. + 9% p.a Superannuation would be the start-off wages .Salaries could be higher based on candidates experience / profile / position etc .
Work Hours:
Working hours vary from company to company and are normally between 8 - 12 hours per day, 6 days, per Week, with a minimum of 38 hours per week unless otherwise stated. The work hours in restaurants are generally longer
Taxes
The Marginal Personal Income Tax Rates in Australia are:
Taxable income Tax on this income $1 – $6,000 Nil $6,001 – $30,000 15c for each $1 over $6,000 $30,001 – $75,000 $3,600 plus 30c for each $1 over $30,000 $75,001 – $150,000 $17,100 plus 40c for each $1 over $75,000 $150,001 and over $47,100 plus 45c for each $1 over $150,000
Eg.For a gross salary of AUD $41,850 p.a. the approximate annual tax works out to be as follows
Annual Salary : 41,850

Duty Meals and Accommodation / Other monthly expenses
Most employers would provide duty meals at no charge while some would provide at a basic minimum deduction.
Initial temporary sharing accommodation for the first 2- 4 weeks would be provided either at no cost or basic deduction after which candidates would be required to arrange for their own accommodation .Since accommodation costs depend on various factors like city , location , apartment size , lifestyle etc it is practically impossible to provide a costing range for the same but an approximate indication would be around AUD $ 100 per week for sharing accommodation and approximately AUD $ 200 per week for single accommodation.
Costing would be higher in centrally located cities and would be much lower in the interior locations.
Approximate allocation for other monthly expenses like groceries, transportation etc could be anywhere in the range of AUD $ 100 -150 per week depending on your lifestyle etc.
NOTE : ALL FIGURES STATED ABOVE ARE APPROXIMATE INDICATIVE FIGURES & NOT

Professional Fees:
Total Professional Fees paid to Blends Travel is for the following:
1. Job placement
2. Work Permit (Temporary 457 visa for a minimum duration of 4 years which could eventually lead to permanent residency based on employers discretion)
3. Guidance and assistance in compiling requisite paperwork required for application.
4. One - way Air Ticket (Up to any of the 3 main city locations Sydney , Melbourne and Brisbane):
Eligibility:
All the candidates must satisfy one of the following criteria’s to be eligible for a Work Permit.
(a) 3 year Diploma / 3 year Degree / 4 year Degree / 3 year Apprenticeship in Hospitality Management from recognized Universities + minimum 3years work experience post Qualification.
(b) Minimum 6 years Work experience required in case of candidates who do not have the above Stated professional qualifications.
In addition to the above candidates must have good English communication skills .If required candidates may be required to take an online / written English proficiency test at a later stage.
Refund Policy:
In case of Visa Rejection due to no fault from your end, AUD $ 550 which is the basic application fee will be deducted and rest of the amount will be refunded to you. This provided you strictly adhere to the guidance provided, present all the necessary documents and have verifiable references. There will be no refund of any fee in any of the following situations / circumstances.
1. If in case you provide any false information with regards to your job assignments or the references provided by you cannot be verified and visa is denied due to incorrect /forged paperwork or misrepresentation from your end there will be no refunds made .In this case an additional processing fee of AUD $ 500 would also be charged.
2. Also if your visa has been denied under any category earlier for Australia, U.K., and USA kindly keep our Consultants informed about the same so that we can advise you accordingly. In such an instance if the visa gets rejected due to failure of notification from your end there would be no refunds made.
3. If your visa is denied due to any criminal offenses.
4. If your employment is terminated due to Inefficiency / unsatisfactory work performance, Gross misconduct or any Other grounds that may cause loss or damage to company property, name or reputation.
5. If you decide not to travel to Australia after your sponsorship approval & Visa stamping for any reasons personal or otherwise.
6. If you decide to return to your Home country prior to completion of the Visa duration for any reasons personal, professional or other causes.
Please note that at every stage a Blends Travel Consultant needs to be informed about any changes in your work status. Any change of job / position or resignations must be irelayed immediately to the consultant. If you fail to do the same the consequences will have to be borne by you, for which Blends Travel will not be held responsible.
Step by Step Guide /the Process:
Initial Interview / Review of Resume
On the basis of your CV if you are found suitable you will be informed to fill in a couple of forms and asked to register with us. The same would be followed by a brief telephonic / personal assessment by one of our consultants regarding your job profile.
Registration: Contact any of our Hospitality consultants :
Registration does not guarantee you a Job, we only ask candidates to register with us if we feel we will have a suitable post for them soon or we find that our clients would be interested in hiring them. A Demand Draft of Rest. 11,236 (Inclusive of service Tax) are required towards registration, which is fully refundable at any time if you do not get selected in any telephonic / personal interview. The registration fee is not refundable after you have appeared for an interview and have been selected by a client & a Job offer is accepted by you.
You will not be eligible to be put up for any personal or telephonic interview until you have registered with us by paying the registration fee DD as mentioned above.
Submitting Forms & Formats:
After your initial screening and registration, certain forms need to be filled; C.V. Format, reference letters on specified formats and sign the Blends Travel Official Contract Letter. These documents are very important and must be submitted in time to avoid delays in processing. Please remember to mention clear and correct information on your resume, as it is your responsibility to make sure the information is right. Please arrange to provide reference letters as requested at the earliest, please don’t provide any false or incorrect information including dates of employment & the designation held. Setting up your Interview:
Once we have all the formats and your registration fee, you will be scheduled either for a personal / telephonic interview with our partner consultants from Australia.
Job Offer:
In the event that you clear the personal interview you will receive a Job Offer & contract agreement after your selection, which must be counter, signed and returned to us. You will be required to make an additional deposit (follow your consultants instructions).
Sponsorship Approval:
Once you accept the job offer, our partner consultant in Australia, Zest Recruitment would then proceed to make your Sponsorship application .This process would take approximately 3 months – 5 months from the day you submit all your necessary references & other documentation. The time taken for the sponsorship approval is totally dependent on the Australian government procedures & timeliness and any delay is not in our hands.
Hence your initial sponsor will be Zest Recruitment & subsequently on successful completion of placement & probation your employer can transfer your visa under his direct sponsorship at his discretion. Also on completion of substantial tenure of service i.e. over 2 years, the employer at his discretion can fast -track the procedure for your permanent residency.
Visa Stamping:
Once we receive the electronic copy of your sponsorship approval, you may apply to the Australian High Commission, for Entry Clearance along with your passport. This procedure may take up to 7 days.Our consultants will guide you with regards to the procedure for the same. Please do not apply without speaking to your Representative or Consultant.
Final Placement :
Since processing timeliness is around 4 – 5 months your final employer cannot be determined in the initial stage as no vacancy can remain available for that long duration.
Once your Australian Visa is approved or closer to the approval date our partner consultants in Australia will then inform you about the current ongoing vacancies at that point of time closer to your departure.
They will counsel & guide as per your background & work experience and place you accordingly with the client your profile suits the best with your consent after informing you about the property , location , final wages , accommodation conditions etc. You might be required to appear for a brief telephonic interview with the final client if required.
Interview at the Embassy
If you are called for an Interview at the Embassy please meet with your Representative prior to the Interview; this is a must. If you are applying at an Embassy other than Mumbai please contact at blendstravel@gmail.com or via telephone.
Tickets:
Only one - way ticket will be provided up to any of the 3 main city locations Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane depending on your final placement .Onward Travel expenses from the Airport to job site to be borne by the candidate i.e. the expenses for onward travel from the airport to the hotel / restaurants will have to be borne by the candidate and no reimbursement is possible from the company.

All candidates interested in registration must counter sign these instruction sheets with full signature and date on each page, if you are below 25 you will need to get it counter signed by a parent or guardian.
Only candidates who are currently employed need to apply for registration .Candidates working on cruise liners and who are on leave can also apply. All candidates must sign Blends Travel Contract, Terms & Conditions.
